Big Bend Storage Facility on Hold
A four-story EZ Storage has run into difficulties with the property, according to Crestwood Mayor Jeff Schlink.
A planned storage facility on Big Bend Boulevard is on hold. The Crestwood Board of Aldermen unanimously approved a plan for a 60,000-square-foot EZ Storage at 9900 Big Bend Blvd. last September. Mayor Jeff Schlink provided a short update on the project at the Board’s Feb. 12 meeting. “What we know is they’ve run into some difficulties with the property. To our knowledge it’s not a dead issue, it’s nothing to do with the city,” Schlink said. The facility will include driving lanes and indoor parking for tenants with larger items. When the four-story facility is completed, customers will have daily access to storage units 7 a.m.-9 p.m. All tenants would be given access codes to the facility.
