Blotter: Faulty Checks, Thief Leaves Store With New Shoes on Feet

Crestwood Police reports on law enforcement and criminal activity.

A business on Watson Plaza accepted two altered checks on Aug. 14. The value of the checks is not known, but police said Visa debit cards were purchased. A resident on Larchwood reported their car tire was punctured on Aug. 12.

Crestwood Business Accepts Fraudulent Checks

Crestwood police said a Watson Plaza business accepted two checks last week.
