Crestwood is officially seeking new legal counsel, and the Crestwood-Sunset Hills Chamber is hiring a new director.
As the interview process for a new Crestwood city administrator gets rolling, the city's aldermen have officially put out a request for new legal services, too. Robert J. Golterman, who's served the city in various capacities for more than 20 years, announced in September he planned to leave his post at the end of the calendar year, or once a replacement has been chosen. The city of Crestwood is a step closer to securing a new, permanent city administrator. The job posting went live Thursday on the Crestwood city website. The city has gone through a handful of administrators in the last six years, the most recent of which was Petree Eastman. Eastman served less than six months of her contract before separating from the city for undisclosed reasons. Her annual salary was around $98,000, according to previous Patch reports. Crestwood Fire Chief Karl Kestler has been acting city administrator since March. Ward III Alderman Jerry Miguel, who mentioned during the board's Aug. 14 meeting that he's watched three administrators come and go during his term, encouraged an open selection process. Miguel said he's …
