It took just a few months to transform the 56,000-square-foot Value City department store into an indoor track. Pole Position Raceway is currently constructing a 56,000-square-foot go-kart facility in the former Value City department store. Their battery-operated go-karts, fit for youth and adult riders, can travel up to 45 miles per hour. The track is expected to open in spring 2013. Roughly 200 $25 gift certficates are currently available for purchase for the holidays, owner Mike Johnson said in an email.
