Every few days I get an email asking if Crestwood Court is still open--whether you can stop into LensCrafters, or just take a walk. In the past two weeks the more frequent question I hear is, "Is LensCrafters going to stay open?" I even saw on the "Crestwood/South County back in the day..." Facebook page that one resident was told the mall had closed entirely when the post office moved out this winter!
While auctions continue and winners clear their prizes out of vacant storefronts, the mall remains open for walkers. On Tuesday a manager at LensCrafters told Patch the store has not announced plans to relocate "at this time," though KSDK said a closing date for the whole mall has been announced.
"In September, Centrum's last tenant will vacate and the barricades will go up," according to their report.
